This is me.

For the past nine years I’ve worked as a senior lecturer within initial teacher education at a university on the south coast of England. Before this I worked for a number of years as a primary school teacher. My area of expertise is digital media. I teach video production, animation, web design and multimedia authoring as well as related aspects of pedagogy. I’m interested in the potential of online learning and blended approaches.

When I find the time, I’m a freelance web designer. My own web site is so embarrassingly out of date that I’m not going to include a link here. Maybe I’ll find time to redesign it someday.

I was once a guitarist and, after several years of neglect, I’ve just got round to restringing my Telecaster and my steel string acoustic. I’m going to try to get back into the habit of playing more regularly.
